Annual Fund Run Each October, our Parent Service Auxiliary organizes the popular ACS Fund Run, which raises funds for educational materials used in the classroom and to support a variety of PSA-organized programs and events, such as the Back-to-School Family Dinner, Halloween Pumpkin Carving Event, Teacher Appreciation Luncheons, and Middle School Swim Parties. All grade levels, from Begindergarten through 8th, collect Fund Run sponsorships, which are awarded based on the number of laps run. Students are encouraged to set “personal best” goals for the number of laps they hope to run. Classes also receive special recognition for their group efforts. At the culmination of Spirit Week, the school-wide Fund Run event not only generates funds, but also fosters pride in individual and team efforts, while building camaraderie among all members of the school community. |
